Le personnel qui essaie de faire de leur mieux malgré un management clairement en manque d'inspiration / The staff, who try to do their best despite a clearly uninspired management.
Hôtel et chambres ternes, moches, sans caractère. Peu d'effort ou d'imagination dans les quelques prestations sommaires proposées. Bien en-déca d'un supposé hôtel 4 étoiles. / Hotel and bedrooms lackluster, ugly, no character. Little effort in the few summary services available. Well under the standard of a so-called 4-star hotel.

The hotel is very close to the beach, and there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby. the location is great if you want to explore the town or take a trip to the port. the hotel is just a few minutes away from Tangier's beautiful town beach. the room was comfortable, and the breakfast had a good variety.
The gym is a bit small and outdated.

The breakfast at El Oumnia Puerto was delicious and had a wide variety of options to choose from. I particularly loved the freshly made pastries and the tasty selection of fruit. The seating outside by the pool was lovely and provided a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy my meal. I also appreciated the helpful and friendly staff who were always willing to assist with any requests or questions I had. Despite a few drawbacks mentioned in other reviews, overall I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was close to the beach and several restaurants. The pool was very relaxing.
Outside of the hotel was very loud during all hours of the night and into the morning even with the windows shut. It was very hot in the rooms and the airconditioning did not work. The hotel front desk told us several times that they would have someone come fix the airconditioning in both rooms we had and no one ever showed up. The were of no help at all. The rooms have a look of a low budget hotel but the hotel prices were not low budget. We would "never" recommend this hotel. Also a note to all visiting Tangier. You only need one (1) day the see all of the sights.
